Crislelephantine sculpture Thaïs following models of D.H. Chiparus (Romania 1886-1947 Paris). It depicts a kneeling dancer with her arms outstretched and wearing an undulating dress in which part of her arm can be seen. It is made of gilded and chiseled bronze. The face, arms and hands are made of finely hand carved elephant ivory. The base is onyx and is signed. CITES documentation is attached.
